Roxy

Roxy is a mare of substance. Her sire was half Thoroughbred and half Percheron her dam is a buckskin Quarter Horse. Rox is 14-2 hands and weighs 1,100 pounds. She has a beautiful, dappled liver chestnut coat.

She is receiving natural horsemanship groundwork and has had a dozen rides. She knows the basics: walk, trot, canter, back and whoa. She has great bone and feet.

Roxy has sweet itch-an allergy to the saliva from gnat bites which causes itching and rubbing. During bug season she receives allergy medication, is sprayed down with gnat repellent morning and evening and covered with a flysheet. It is best if she is indoors at dusk and dawn.

Her adoption fee is $500, application and contract required.
