We need your help. Volunteers at Equine Aid make a difference in the lives of formerly slaughter bound, neglected or unwanted horses. Our current volunteer needs are:

Cleaning stalls and Paddocks, cleaning tack, grooming horses, fundraising: your ideas and/or coordinating events, updating and improving our website and Petfinder site. We appreciate your suggestions as well as your assistance. All volunteers are encouraged to get to know our horses. Our horses are trained and ridden using natural horsemanship techniques. If you are interested in volunteering as a trainer, extensive experience is required. Our horses are only ridden by our trainers.

Equine Aid is located in Monroe, WA. We ask that volunteers commit to a minimum of four hours each week on a regularly scheduled day. Rain or shine the horses need care. We depend on trained volunteers to be here as scheduled. If you can make that commitment, we would love to have you join the team.

The minimum age for volunteers is 16 years old. No horse experience is required. Your interest in equines and their care and your willingness to learn are what matter most.
